The invention discloses a method for erecting a segmental steel girder on a pier top short slideway girder. The method comprises the following steps of: S1: arranging a bob-weight component with an adjustable weight on a first segmental steel girder; S2: enabling the first segmental steel girder to fall to a preset first position on the pier top short slideway girder; S3: hoisting a second segmental steel girder, and enabling the second segmental steel girder and the first segmental steel girder to be subjected to butt joint to form a first integral steel girder; S4: after the bob-weight component is regulated to enable the first integral steel girder to be regulated to a target bob weight, moving the first integral steel girder to preset displacement; S5: repeating the above S3-S4, carrying out butt joint on a plurality of segmental steel girders in sequence on the first integral steel girder until all butt joint segmental steel girders have an integral anti-overturning capability onthe pier top short slideway girder; and S6: erecting remaining segmental steel girders on two sides of all erected segmental steel girders. The method erects the steel girders on the pier top short slideway girder in a bot-weight and slippage way, and has a safe and reliable construction process.
