Abstract
(EN) The invention relates to a nuclear reactor (10) comprising a vessel (100) incorporating at least one primary power heat exchanger (200) for cooling the primary liquid of the nuclear reactor during thenormal operation of the reactor and at least one primary passive safety heat exchanger (120) for cooling the primary liquid of the nuclear reactor in the event of a malfunction in the normal coolingof the primary liquid of the reactor. The nuclear reactor (10) is characterised in that the vessel (100) comprises a compartment (110) arranged in the thickness thereof, and in that the primary passive safety heat exchanger (120) is at least partially contained inside said compartment (110).
