The utility model provides a linear vibration motor, which comprises a base with an accommodating space, a vibration unit arranged in the accommodating space, an elastic piece for suspending the vibration unit in the accommodating space, and magnetic steel fixed on the base and used for driving the vibration unit to vibrate, the elastic piece is positioned on one side of the vibration direction ofthe vibration unit; the vibration unit comprises a mass block, a containing groove penetrating through the mass block in the vibration direction of the vibration unit, and at least one pair of coil assemblies oppositely arranged in the containing groove in a spaced mode and fixed to the mass block. The magnetic steel partially extends to the accommodating groove and is arranged at an interval relative to the coil assembly; each coil assembly comprises an iron core fixed to the mass block and a coil wound around the iron core, the magnetic steel is magnetized in the vibration direction, the magnetizing direction of the coil assemblies is perpendicular to the vibration direction, and the magnetic poles, close to one side of the magnetic steel, of the coil assemblies are oppositely arrangedin the same polarity. Compared with the prior art, the vibration effect of the linear vibration motor is better.
