The subject of the present invention is a removable device (1) for retaining electrical contacts, characterised in that it comprises: a rigid element (2) for holding electrical contacts (C) includinga plurality of housings that are configured to receive the electrical contacts, the side walls of the holding element which are adjacent to the housings having a plurality of apertures, each of whichopens onto a housing of the plurality of housings of the holding element; and an elastic element (2) for retaining the electrical contacts (C) in the holding element, including a plurality of spring-effect leaves that are placed facing the apertures that open onto the housings of the rigid holding element so as to retain the electrical contacts in the housings of the holding element. The inventionalso relates to a soldering method using a device of this kind.
