Abstract
(EN) The present disclosure relates to a concept for correcting orientation information based on inertial sensor data from one or more inertial sensors mounted to an object. The proposed concept includes receiving position data indicative of a current absolute position of the object, determining a direction of movement of the object based on the position data, and correcting the object's orientation information based on the determined direction of movement.
