The application discloses a driving protection circuit, a display device and a driving protection method. The driving protection circuit comprises: a power input end, a power output end, a voltage detecting circuit, a first electronic switch and an overvoltage protection circuit. An input end of the voltage detecting circuit is connected to the power input end, and an output end of the voltage detecting circuit is connected to a controlled end of the first electronic switch. A first end of the first electronic switch is connected to the power input end, and a second end of the first electronicswitch is connected to the power output end. An input end of the overvoltage protection circuit is connected to the power input end, and an output end of the overvoltage protection circuit is connected to the power output end. The technical solution of the application is used to first step down and output the voltage when a voltage input by the power input end exceeds a withstand voltage of a chip on a driving board, thereby preventing the chip on the driving board from being burned out.
