The invention provides a processing method of a viewing angle compensation look-up table and a driving method of a display device. The processing method of the viewing angle compensation look-up tablecarries out bit reduction processing on the original viewing angle compensation look-up table, and carries out bit reduction processing on the first sub-gray scale group of each initial processing 8-bit of the initial processing viewing angle compensation look-up table, at least one of the second 8-bit sub-gray scales is adjusted to be equal to the second 8-bit sub-gray scales so as to obtain a visual angle compensation look-up table for finishing processing; when the visual angle compensation look-up table is driven, the display device receives a plurality of target 12-bit gray scales corresponding to a plurality of sub-pixel groups respectively, the bit reduction processing is performed on the target 12-bit gray scales to generate a plurality of target 8-bit gray scales, obtaining a plurality of actual 8-bit sub-gray scales respectively corresponding to the target 8-bit gray scales by utilizing a visual angle compensation look-up table which completes processing, and respectively driving a plurality of sub-pixel groups of the display device to display by utilizing the actual 8-bit sub-gray scales; the processing method can eliminate the flickering vertical lines of the display device when the display device displays the pure gray scale picture and improve the display quality.

本发明提供一种视角补偿查找表的处理方法及显示装置的驱动方法。本发明的视角补偿查找表的处理方法对原始视角补偿查找表进行降比特处理并对初处理视角补偿查找表的每一初处理8bit子灰阶组中的第一、第二8bit子灰阶中的至少一个进行调整使两者相等得到完成处理的视角补偿查找表,驱动时,显示装置接收分别与多个子像素组对应的多个目标12bit灰阶,对多个目标12bit灰阶进行降比特处理生成多个目标8bit灰阶,利用完成处理的视角补偿查找表获取分别与多个目标8bit灰阶对应的多个实际8bit子灰阶并利用多个实际8bit子灰阶分别驱动显示装置的多个子像素组进行显示,能够消除显示装置在显示纯灰阶画面时出现的闪烁竖纹,提升显示品质。
