The invention discloses a sheath and cover plate structure of an optical fiber drawing and heating furnace. The sheath and cover plate structure comprises a sheath cylinder and a cover plate. The sheath cylinder comprises a circular truncated cone sheath section located at the bottom of the sheath cylinder. A circular truncated cone-shaped cavity running vertically is formed in the circular truncated cone sheath section. The lower surface area of the circular truncated cone-shaped cavity is larger than the upper surface area of the circular truncated cone-shaped cavity. The sheath cylinder isplaced on the upper surface of the cover plate. A circle of gasket groove is formed in the upper surface of the cover plate and located at the contact position of the cover plate and the lower surfaceof the circular truncated cone sheath section. The gasket groove is internally provided with a gasket. A circle of oil collecting groove is formed in the upper surface of the cover plate and locatedat the downward-extending position of the slope inner wall of the circular truncated cone sheath section so that oil on the slope inner wall can downward converge into the oil collecting groove. The gasket groove is located outside the oil collecting groove. The situation that a wrapping layer is out of round in the drawing process of an optical wand is reduced, and the out-of-round rate of the optical fiber wrapping layer is reduced.

本发明公开了一种光纤拉丝加热炉的护套盖板结构,包括护套筒和盖板,所述护套筒包括圆台护套段且圆台护套段位于护套筒的底部,所述圆台护套段的内部设有从上到下贯穿的圆台状空腔,圆台状空腔的下表面积大于圆台状空腔的上表面积,护套筒放置在所述盖板的上表面,盖板上表面设有一圈垫圈槽且该垫圈槽位于所述盖板与圆台护套段下表面的接触位置,垫圈槽内安装有垫圈,盖板上表面设有一圈集油槽且该集油槽位于圆台护套段的斜坡内壁向下延伸的位置从而使斜坡内壁上的油向下汇集到集油槽中,所述垫圈槽位于集油槽的外侧。本发明减少了光棒的拉丝过程中出现包层不圆的情况,降低了光纤包层的不圆率。
