The invention provides a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device comprises a plurality of sub-pixels which are arrayed, wherein each sub-pixel is an eight-domain structure; the polarities of data signals of two adjacent two columns of sub-pixels are opposite in a frame, and the polarities of data signals of the same sub-pixel are opposite in two adjacent frames; and each two adjacent sub-pixels in a row direction form a sub-pixel group, the sub-pixels in one sub-pixel group in two adjacent sub-pixel groups display the luminance of a first display gray scale corresponding to the sub-pixels, and the sub-pixels in the other sub-pixel group in two adjacent sub-pixel groups display the luminance of a second display gray scale corresponding to the sub-pixels. By carryingout color offset compensation on the data signals of the eight-domain-structured sub-pixels, the chrominance view angle of the liquid crystal display device can be improved, and the observation experience of the liquid crystal display device can be improved.

本发明提供一种液晶显示装置。所述液晶显示装置包括:阵列排布的多个子像素,每一个子像素均为八畴结构;在一帧画面中,相邻两列子像素的数据信号的极性相反,在相邻的两帧画面中,同一个子像素的数据信号的极性相反;在行方向每相邻的两个子像素为一个子像素组,在相邻的两个子像素组中,一个子像素组中的子像素均显示与该子像素对应的第一显示灰阶的亮度,另一个子像素组中的子像素均显示与该子像素对应的第二显示灰阶对应的亮度;通过对八畴结构的子像素的数据信号进行色偏补偿处理,能够提升液晶显示装置的色度可视角,改善液晶显示装置的观看体验。
