LA PRESENTE INVENCIÓN SE REFIERE A UN PROCESO Y APARATO INTEGRADOS PARA RECUPERAR JUGO DE TOMATE A PARTIR DE ORUJO DE TOMATE, ASÍ COMO DESHIDRATARLO Y ESTABILIZARLO BIOLÓGICAMENTE. EL INNOVADOR PROCESO DESARROLLADO IMPLICA CUATRO PASOS PRINCIPALES: SEPARACIÓN POR DISOLUCIÓN EN UNA MATRIZ ACUOSA COMPATIBLE CON ALIMENTACIÓN HUMANA, SEPARACIÓN SÓLIDO-LÍQUIDO, LAVADO DE LA TORTA DE FILTRACIÓN Y DESHIDRATACIÓN TÉRMICA. EL EQUIPO PRINCIPAL PARA LA REALIZACIÓN DE ESTE PROCESO ES UN MEZCLADOR CON AGITACIÓN MECÁNICA Y UN FILTRO PRENSA CON PLACAS DE MEMBRANA Y CAPACIDAD DE DESHIDRATACIÓN TÉRMICA AL VACÍO. EL JUGO DE TOMATE RESULTANTE DEL PROCESO DESARROLLADO, ESTÁ DESTINADO A SER INCORPORADO A LOS CONCENTRADOS DE TOMATE DE LA INDUSTRIA DE PROCESAMIENTO DE TOMATE. EL ORUJO DE TOMATE DESHIDRATADO ES UN PRODUCTO BIOLÓGICAMENTE ESTABLE Y PUEDE USARSE EN ALIMENTOS PARA ANIMALES RUMIANTES Y NO RUMIANTES Y COMO MATERIA PRIMA PARA APLICACIONES BIOTECNOLÓGICAS Y FARMACÉUTICAS.
