(PT) transdutor ultrassônico para um tubo, medidor de fluxo e método para detectar as taxas de fluxo de fluido em um tubo.a presente invenção refere-se a um transdutor ultrassônico (10) para um tubo inclui uma fonte ultrassônica (14) que produz ondas planas. o transdutor inclui um invólucro (16) tendo uma face (18), pelo menos uma porção da qual é encurvada, através do que as ondas planas produzidas da fonte disposta no invólucro (16) são emitidas e direcionadas para fora para a parede interna (26) dos tubos, pelo que uma seção transversal do interior dos tubos pode ser medida. um medidor de fluxo (20) para detectar as taxas de fluxo de fluido em um tubo. um método para detectar as taxas de fluxo de fluido em um tubo.
