o objetivo da presente invenção é habilitar que um processo para obter dados de imagem em uso de exibição a partir dos dados de vídeo de transmissão seja realizado adequadamente no lado de recepção quando múltiplos tipos de dados de vídeo de transmissão com uma característica de conversão opto-elétrica prescrita forem transmitidos ao mesmo tempo em que são comutados. um fluxo contínuo de vídeo é obtido pela realização de um processo de codificação nos dados de vídeo de transmissão obtidos pela comutação e transmissão de múltiplos tipos de dados de vídeo de transmissão com uma característica de conversão opto-elétrica prescrita. um contêiner em um formato prescrito que contém este fluxo contínuo de vídeo é transmitido. a informação de identificação que indica o tipo de dados de vídeo de transmissão possuídos pelo fluxo contínuo de vídeo contido no contêiner é inserida no contêiner. a informação de identificação é inserida em não menos do que uma quantidade prescrita de tempo antes do sincronismo da comutação, para indicar o tipo de dados de vídeo de transmissão depois da comutação.
