Title: (EN) Index determination
Abstract: front page image
(EN) A method of determining an index indicative of the presence, absence or degree of left ventricular hypertrophy in a subject. The method includes using a processing system to determine a measured impedance value for at least one body segment. For each body segment the measured impedance values are used to determine at least one impedance parameter, which are then used to determine a fat-free mass for the subject. The fat free mass can then be used as the index.
