Provided are a method and an apparatus for transmitting a sounding reference signal (SRS) in a wireless communications system. A terminal receives, from a base station through an upper layer, cyclic shift parameters; determines, based on the cyclic shift parameters, different cyclic shift values respectively corresponding to multiple antenna ports to have a maximum interval therebetween; generates multiple SRS sequences respectively corresponding to the antenna ports by applying the different cyclic shift values; and transmits the SRS sequences to the base station through the respective antenna ports, respectively. 무선 통신 시스템에서 사운딩 참조 신호(SRS; sounding reference signal)를 전송하는 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 단말은 기지국으로부터 순환 쉬프트 파라미터를 상위 계층을 통해 수신하고, 이를 기바능로 복수의 안테나 포트 각각에 대응하며 서로 최대 간격만큼 떨어지는 서로 다른 순환 쉬프트 값을 결정하고, 상기 서로 다른 순환 쉬프트 값을 적용하여 상기 복수의 안테나 포트 각각에 대응하는 복수의 SRS 시퀀스를 생성하고, 상기 복수의 SRS 시퀀스를 각각 상기 복수의 안테나 포트를 통해 상기 기지국으로 전송한다.
