PURPOSE: A method of manufacturing a carbon fiber for a sheet-type heater is provided to maintain a maximum heated temperature for a long time by adjusting a heating temperature by regulating a voltage applied on a calorific plate.

CONSTITUTION: A PAN(PolyAcryloNitrile) group carbon fiber or a pitch group carbon fiber is carbonated at a middle temperature between 700 and 900 degrees centigrade in an inert atmosphere, so that a carbon fiber with a weight ratio between 55 and 65% with respect to an initial weight is obtained. An AC voltage calorific plate is obtained by carbonating the PAN group oxide fiber or the pitch group carbon fiber at a middle temperature between 700 and 800 degrees centigrade in the inert atmosphere to obtain a yield between 60 and 65%. A DC voltage calorific plate is obtained by carbonating the PAN group oxide fiber or the pitch group carbon fiber at a middle temperature between 800 and 900 degrees centigrade in the inertia atmosphere to obtain a yield between 55 and 60%.

(KO) 본 발명은 팬(PAN ; polyacrylonitrile)계 산화섬유(Oxy-PAN, 이하 옥시팬이라 한다.) 또는 피치(Pitch)계 산화섬유를 중온에서 탄화시켜 부분적으로 탄화된 팬(PAN)계 탄소섬유 또는 피치(Pitch)계 탄소섬유를 제조한 후 상기 탄소섬유로 이루어진 부직포 또는 직물을 제조하는 것과 상기 제조된 부분탄화 탄소섬유 또는 부분탄화 탄소섬유로 이루어진 부직포 또는 직물 위에 금속전극을 양 말단에 설치한 후, 절연재를 상기 부직포 또는 직물의 상하에 적층하여 열 압착시켜 제조된 면상발열체 및 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
