(FR) ORTHÈSE DE PRÉVENTION DE LA LUXATION ARTICULAIRE

Abstract

(EN) A glenohumeral orthosis for preventing an anterior shoulder dislocation, the orthosis comprising a rigid shell substantially conformed to a shoulder of a user, the rigid shell being shaped and dimensioned to extend between an anterior portion overlapping a subcoracoid region of the user when the orthosis is worn, and a posterior portion at least partially overlapping a spine of scapula of the user when the orthosis is worn, and an interior-facing abutment disposed along the anterior portion of the rigid shell and positioned to overlie the user's subcoracoid region when the orthosis is worn to apply pressure thereto.

(FR) Orthèse gléno-humérale pour prévenir une luxation antérieure de l'épaule, l'orthèse comprenant une coque rigide sensiblement conformée à l'épaule d'un utilisateur, la coque rigide étant façonnée et dimensionnée pour s'étendre entre une partie antérieure chevauchant une région sous-coracoïdienne de l'utilisateur lorsque l'orthèse est portée, et une partie postérieure chevauchant au moins partiellement l'épine de l'omoplate de l'utilisateur lorsque l'orthèse est portée, et une butée orientée vers l'intérieur disposée le long de la partie antérieure de la coque rigide et positionnée pour recouvrir la région sous-coracoïdienne de l'utilisateur lorsque l'orthèse est portée afin d'y exercer une pression.
