Abstract

(EN) The present disclosure provides a lighting apparatus comprising an LED tape and a control apparatus. The LED tape includes a plurality of connected segments, each of the segments comprising an LED path having at least one LED coupled in parallel with LEDs in other of the segments. A first set of the segments further comprise a reference path comprising a reference element, such as a resistor, coupled in parallel with reference elements in other of the segments of the first set. The control apparatus is operable to determine an indication of a number of the segments in the LED tape using the reference elements coupled in parallel within the first set of the segments. The control apparatus is further operable to determine an electrical setting, such as a maximum current, for the LEDs within the segments of the LED tape based on the indication of the number of segments.

(FR) La présente divulgation concerne un appareil d'éclairage comprenant une bande de DEL et un appareil de commande. La bande de DEL comprend une pluralité de segments connectés, chacun des segments comprenant un trajet de DEL comportant au moins une DEL couplée en parallèle avec des DEL dans d'autres segments. Un premier ensemble des segments comprend en outre un trajet de référence comprenant un élément de référence, tel qu'une résistance, couplé en parallèle avec les éléments de référence dans d'autres segments du premier ensemble. L'appareil de commande peut être utilisé pour déterminer une indication d'un nombre de segments dans la bande de DEL à l'aide des éléments de référence couplés en parallèle dans le premier ensemble de segments. L'appareil de commande peut en outre être utilisé pour déterminer un réglage électrique, tel qu'un courant maximal, pour les DEL dans les segments de la bande de DEL sur la base de l'indication du nombre de segments.
