(FR) PROCESSUS D'HYDROMÉTALLURGIE PROPRE POUR PRODUIRE DE L'ALUMINE

Abstract

(EN) Starting materials in the form of raw ores, specifically aluminum-bearing ores such as bauxite ores, and more specifically ores that cannot be processed by other methods, are treated to recover the metal compounds contained therein. The improved method enables the recovery of most of the nitric acid used by the process, to reduce acid waste generated by previous processes.

(FR) Selon l'invention, des matériaux de départ sous la forme de minerais bruts, en particulier de minerais contenant de l'aluminium tels que des minerais de bauxite, et plus particulièrement des minerais qui ne peuvent pas être traités par d'autres procédés, sont traités pour récupérer les composés métalliques contenus dans ceux-ci. Le procédé amélioré permet la récupération de la majeure partie de l'acide nitrique utilisé par le processus, pour réduire les déchets acides générés par les processus antérieurs.
