Abstract
(EN) An apparatus for evaluating restitution of an item of sports equipment comprises a base and a support member for holding a sports projectile associated with the sports equipment at a release point relative to the base. A clamp assembly is provided on the base for securing the sports equipment in a clamped position relative to the release point such that, in use, when the sports projectile is released from the release point and travels toward the sports equipment, the sports projectile collides with an impact point on a striking surface of the sports equipment. A gauge is positioned relative to the base for measuring a rebound travel distance or rebound velocity of the sports projectile when the sports projectile rebounds from the impact point. The apparatus is configured such that a relative lateral alignment between the clamped position and the release point is adjustable for adjusting the impact point.
(FR) Un appareil destiné à évaluer la restitution d'un équipement sportif comprend une base et un élément de support pour maintenir un projectile sportif associé à l'équipement sportif à un point de relâchement par rapport à la base.
