Abstract:
The invention relates to a composite electrode having a conductor, which is coated with an electrode mass comprising an active electrode material, a binding agent, and a conductive carbon black, wherein the electrode mass has a concentration gradient in the direction of the electrode thickness with respect to electrode material and conductive additive, the concentration gradient of the active electrode material increases toward the conductor, and the concentration gradient of the conductive additive and binder decreases toward the conductor. The invention further relates to a lithium-ion battery comprising the composite electrode and to two alternative methods for producing the composite electrode.
