Title: METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPLEX FLUORIDE PHOSPHOR
Abstract:
Provided is a method for producing a red phosphor of formula (1), A2MF6: Mn (1) (M is one type or more of a tetravalent element selected from Si, Ti, Zr, Hf, Ge, and Sn, and A is one type or more of an alkali metal selected from Li, Na, K, Rb, and Cs, and includes at least Na and/or K.), wherein when mixing required source materials in a reactor and crystallizing an A2MF6: Mn complex fluoride phosphor, a diaphragm is provided inside the reactor to divide the reactor into an anode chamber and a cathode chamber, or the reactor is set as an anode chamber and a cathode chamber is provided separate from the reactor, the anode chamber and cathode chamber being connected via a salt bridge. The anode chamber is for crystallizing the A2MF6: Mn, the cathode chamber contains at least hydrofluoric acid, and an electrode is placed in each of the chambers. An electric current is passed between the electrodes and while conducting electrolysis, the crystallization reaction of the A2MF6: Mn is carried out in the anode chamber. The present invention can produce a high performance red phosphor.
