The invention concerns a method for enhancing dry ground adherence of a tyre casing comprising a running tread (1) based on an electrically insulating material which is delimited laterally by two side surfaces (4 and 5) linking between them inner and outer radial surfaces (2 and 3) of said running thread. The invention is characterised in that the method consists in using a running tread comprising on its circumference at least a conductive ply (10) substantially linking said side surfaces (4 and 5) to each other, said ply (10) having lower resistivity than that of said insulating material, which is radially provided on both sides (11 and 12) of said ply (10) in said running tread (1).

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour améliorer l'adhérence sur sol sec d'une enveloppe de pneumatique, laquelle comporte une bande de roulement (1) à base d'une matière électriquement isolante qui est délimitée latéralement par deux faces latérales (4 et 5) reliant entre elles des faces radialement interne et externe (2 et 3) de ladite bande de roulement. Selon l'invention, ce procédé consiste à l'utiliser une bande de roulement comportant sur sa circonférence au moins une couche conductrice (10) reliant sensiblement lesdites faces latérales (4 et 5) entre elles, ladite couche (10) présentant une résistivité inférieure à celle de ladite matière isolante, laquelle est radialement prévue des deux côtés (11 et 12) de ladite couche (10) dans ladite bande de roulement (1).
