A material for slide part that excels in low warpage, high-limit PV value, low coefficient of dynamic friction and abrasion resistance, and that in particular is suitable for use in the gear, pulley, cam, bearing, etc. of automobile, machine, etc., the cable housing for supporting of cables, such as power supply cable, signal cable and optical cable, etc. There is provided a material for slide part characterized by consisting of a thermoplastic resin composition containing (A) thermoplastic resin and (B) glass fiber with a noncircular section wherein in the section perpendicular to the direction of length, the ratio of major axis to minor axis is in the range of 1.2 to 10. The material for slide part is composed of, on the basis of the whole weight of the thermoplastic resin composition, 90 to 30 wt.% of thermoplastic resin (A) and 10 to 70 wt.% of glass fiber (B) with a noncircular section wherein in the section perpendicular to the direction of length, the ratio of major axis to minor axis is in the range of 1.2 to 10.

La présente invention concerne un matériau destiné à une partie coulissante qui présente un très faible gauchissement, une valeur photovoltaïque de limite supérieure, un faible coefficient de frottement dynamique et une résistance à l'abrasion, et dont l'utilisation convient particulièrement lorsqu'il est destiné à l'engrenage, la poulie, la came, le palier, etc. d'une automobile, d'une machine, etc., au logement pour câbles servant à supporter des câbles, tels un câble d'alimentation électrique, un câble de signal et un câble optique, etc. L'invention a trait à un matériau destiné à une partie coulissante qui se caractérise en ce qu'il comprend une composition de résine thermoplastique renfermant (A) une résine thermoplastique et (B) une fibre de verre pourvue d'une section non circulaire dans laquelle suivant la section perpendiculaire à la direction de la longueur, le rapport du grand axe sur le petit axe se situe dans une plage comprise entre 1,2 et 10. La composition du matériau destiné à la partie coulissante comprend, si l'on se base sur le poids total de la composition de résine thermoplastique, entre 90 et 30 % en poids de résine thermoplastique (A) et entre 10 et 70 % en poids de fibre de verre (B) pourvue d'une section non circulaire dans laquelle suivant la section perpendiculaire à la direction de la longueur, le rapport du grand axe sur le petit axe se trouve dans une plage comprise entre 1,2 et 10.

低そり性、高限界PV値、低動摩擦係数、耐摩耗性に優れた摺動部品用材料を提供する。特に自動車、機械等のギア、プーリー、カム、軸受等や、給電ケーブル、信号ケーブル、光ケーブル等のケーブルを支持するケーブルハウジング等に好適に使用される。(A)熱可塑性樹脂、及び(B)長さ方向に直角の断面において長径と短径の比が1.2~10である非円形断面のガラス繊維を含む熱可塑性樹脂組成物からなることを特徴とする摺動部品用材料。該摺動部品用材料は、熱可塑性樹脂組成物全体に対して、(A)熱可塑性樹脂が90~30重量%、及び(B)長さ方向に直角の断面において長径と短径の比が1.2~10である非円形断面のガラス繊維が10~70重量%からなる。
