Abstract

Systems for and methods for in situ optimization of tunable light emitting diode sources are disclosed herein. During operation, the systems and methods obtain real-time feedback from an image sensor, and that feedback is used to tune the tunable LEDs. By tuning the tunable LEDs, the best values for the LED spectral output can be selected based on the feedback from the image sensor, and an image with improved contrast is obtained. Alternatively, the amount of time to obtain an image with acceptable contrast is reduced.

L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés d'optimisation in situ de sources de diodes électroluminescentes accordables. Pendant le fonctionnement, les systèmes et les procédés obtiennent une rétroaction en temps réel à partir d'un capteur d'image, et cette rétroaction est utilisée pour accorder les DEL accordables. En accordant les DEL accordables, les meilleures valeurs pour la sortie spectrale de DEL peuvent être sélectionnées sur la base de la rétroaction provenant du capteur d'image, et une image ayant un contraste amélioré est obtenue.
