本发明涉及N‑乙烯基羧酸酰胺制造用组合物以及以将该N‑乙烯基羧酸酰胺制造用组合物进行热分解或催化裂化作为特征的N‑乙烯基羧酸酰胺的制造方法,上述N‑乙烯基羧酸酰胺制造用组合物是包含作为成分(A)的N‑(1‑烷氧基乙基)羧酸酰胺、以及作为成分(B)的除N‑(1‑烷氧基乙基)羧酸酰胺和N‑乙烯基羧酸酰胺以外的羧酸酰胺的组合物,其满足以下(1)~(4)的条件,(1)上述组合物的熔点为0~30℃,(2)水的含量在上述组合物总量中为0~1.00质量%,(3)上述成分(A)相对于上述成分(B)的含量比以摩尔比计为4.0~20.0,(4)上述组合物的5质量%水溶液的pH为4.0~8.0。
