Abstract:
(EN) A Magnetic Resonance imaging coil for large volumes and high magnetic fields of 3 Tesla of higher. Specifically the present invention provides a high field volume resonator having a conductive cavity with segments of coaxial cable with exposed center conductors passing through, creating a voltage node at the center of the cavity. The cavity dimension (L1, D1) are sufficiently large to accomodate a human subject.
(FR) L'invention concerne une bobine d'imagerie par résonance magnétique pour grands volumes et champs magnétiques élevés de 3 Tesla ou plus. L'invention concerne en particulier un résonateur de volume haute résolution comprenant une cavité conductrice avec des segments de câble coaxial par lesquels passent des conducteurs centraux exposés, créant un noeud de tension au centre de la cavité. Les dimensions (L1, D1) de la cavité sont suffisamment larges pour recevoir un patient.
