Pharmaceutical compounds commprising bridged nicotine analogs of N-octylnicotinium iodide (NONI) having selective antagonist properties at $g(a)3$g(b)2-containing nicotinic receptor subtypes, and compositions containing these compounds. The compounds and compositions are used to treat central nervous system pathologies.

L'invention se rapporte à des composés pharmaceutiques comportant des analogues de nicotine pontée composés de iodure de N-octylnicotinium (NONI) et dotés de propriétés antagonistes à l'encontre des sous-types de récepteurs nicotiniques contenant les sous-unités $g(a)3$g(b)2, ainsi qu'à des compositions contenant ces composés. Ces composés et ces compositions sont utilisés pour le traitement de troubles du système nerveux central.
