Abstract

(EN) Apparatus, methods, and computer program products for wireless communication are provided. An example method may include initiating a UE initiated beam management procedure. The example method may further include determining a quantity of event instances within a time window, where the time window is associated with a particular candidate beam or a set of candidate beams including the particular candidate beam, where each event instance of the quantity of event instances is based on the particular candidate beam or the set of candidate beams having a first metric greater than a second metric associated with a current serving beam by a threshold value. The example method may further include transmitting, to a network entity based on the quantity of event instances being greater than a configurable value, a UE initiated beam report including information associated with the particular candidate beam.

(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil, des procédés, et des produits-programmes d'ordinateur destinés à la communication sans fil. Un procédé donné à titre d'exemple peut consister à initier une procédure de gestion de faisceau initiée par un UE. Le procédé donné à titre d'exemple peut en outre consister à déterminer une quantité d'instances d'événement dans une fenêtre temporelle, la fenêtre temporelle étant associée à un faisceau candidat particulier ou à un ensemble de faisceaux candidats comprenant le faisceau candidat particulier, chaque instance d'événement de la quantité d'instances d'événement étant basée sur le faisceau candidat particulier ou l'ensemble de faisceaux candidats présentant une première métrique supérieure à une seconde métrique associée à un faisceau de desserte courant par une valeur seuil. Le procédé donné à titre d'exemple peut en outre consister à transmettre, à une entité de réseau sur la base de la quantité d'instances d'événement qui est supérieure à une valeur configurable, un rapport de faisceau initié par un UE comprenant des informations associées au faisceau candidat particulier.
