(FR) PROCÉDÉ DE FIXATION FAISANT INTERVENIR DES PIÈCES OU ÉLÉMENTS EN BOIS DENSIFIÉ
Abstract
(EN) Disclosed is a fastening method using densified wood elements or pieces, which uses the swelling or set recovery of densified wood, commonly seen as a problem or disadvantage, as a solution for fitting pieces, for example, in assembled products or mechanical assemblies, which allows pieces to be securely fitted and joined without using additional fastening elements such as bolts, screws, nails, adhesives or other metal or plastic fastening means, etc., thus also dispensing with the use of tools to fasten assemblies or joints. The fastening method enables a fit that joins parts or components securely, maintaining the mechanical strength obtained by the densification of the densified wood elements or pieces used for fastening. The proposed fastening method uses sustainable materials, such as radiata pine, which is widely available in Chile and has high densification potential.
(ES) Método de fijación utilizando piezas o elementos de madera densificada que aprovecha la hinchazón o recuperación de espesor de la madera densificada, comúnmente visto como un inconveniente o desventaja, como una solución de ajuste de piezas, por ejemplo, en productos ensamblados o conjuntos mecánicos, que permite asegurar el ajuste y unión de piezas, sin utilizar elementos adicionales de fijación como pernos, tornillos, clavos, adhesivos u otros medios de fijación metálica, plástica, etc., evitando, también, el uso de herramientas para la fijación de ensamblajes o uniones. El método de fijación permite generar un ajuste que asegura la unión entre partes o componentes, manteniendo la resistencia mecánica obtenida por la densificación de las piezas o elementos de madera densificada utilizados en la fijación. El método de fijación propuesto utiliza materiales sustentables, como lo es, por ejemplo, el pino radiata, ampliamente disponible en Chile y con un alto potencial de densificación.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de fixation faisant intervenir des pièces ou éléments en bois densifié qui tire profit du gonflement ou redressement de l'épaisseur du bois densifié, considéré en général comme un inconvénient ou désavantage, comme une solution pour l'ajustement de pièces, par exemple, dans des produits assemblés ou ensembles mécaniques, qui permet d'assurer l'ajustement et la liaison de pièces, sans utiliser d'éléments supplémentaires de fixation de type boulons, vis, clous, adhésifs ou autres moyens de fixation métallique, plastique, etc., ce qui permet également de ne pas avoir recours à des outils pour la fixation d'assemblages ou de liaisons. Le procédé de fixation permet de produire un ajustement qui assure la liaison entre des parties ou composants, maintenant la résistance mécanique obtenue par la densification des pièces ou éléments en bois densifié utilisés dans la fixation. Le procédé de fixation proposé fait intervenir des matériaux durables, comme par exemple le pin radiata, disponible en grandes quantités au Chili et présentant un potentiel de densification élevé.
