(FR) SYSTÈME DE PAPR COMPATIBLE AVEC UN CASQUE ET FILTRES, CONDUITS DE CONNEXION ET COMBINAISONS DE CASQUE DE PROTECTION ASSOCIÉS

Abstract

(EN) A protective headwear and respirator combination features a helmet having one or more predefined external mounting points thereon by which one or more accessories are externally mountable to said helmet, a respirator mask wearable together with said helmet in a face-worn position encompassing at least an oronasal portion of a face of the user to which inhalable air is admissible through an air intake port, and a a powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) comprising a blower unit configured for selective and removable mounting thereof to said helmet at one of said one or more predefined external mounting points thereon. A PAPR-mask interconnection conduit fluidically interconnects the blower outlet of the PAPR and the air intake of the respirator mask to convey ouptut air from the blower unit to the interior of the respirator mask, and comprises a thumbwheel coupler at an outlet end of the conduit.

(FR) La présente invention concerne une combinaison de casque de protection et de respirateur comprenant un casque ayant un ou plusieurs points de montage externes prédéfinis sur celui-ci par lesquels un ou plusieurs accessoires peuvent être montés à l'extérieur sur ledit casque, un masque respiratoire pouvant être porté conjointement avec ledit casque dans une position portée par le visage englobant au moins une partie oronasale d'un visage de l'utilisateur auquel de l'air inhalable est admissible à travers un orifice d'admission d'air, et un appareil de protection respiratoire à épuration d'air motorisé (PAPR) comprenant une unité de soufflante configurée pour un montage sélectif et amovible de celui-ci sur ledit casque au niveau de l'un desdits un ou plusieurs points de montage externes prédéfinis sur celui-ci. Un conduit d'interconnexion de masque de PAPR interconnecte fluidiquement la sortie de soufflante du PAPR et l'entrée d'air du masque de respirateur pour transporter l'air sortant de l'unité de soufflante à l'intérieur du masque de respirateur, et comprend un coupleur de molette au niveau d'une extrémité de sortie du conduit.
