Abstract
(EN) An asymmetrically focussed acupressure appliance (10) and a method for use by a user (130) to relieve tension and/or pain from their body (132), without a practitioner. The appliance (10) has an upper curved surface (22) for supporting and promoting the user's body (132) to relax, whilst a finger like projection (14) applies pressure to a location of tension or pain in the user's body (132) to release the tension or pain. The inventive concept relates to the use of a finger like projection (14) located upon an upper curved surface (34) for applying asymmetrical focussed pressure to the user's body (132) at a location of tension or pain to modify and ultimately to relieve that tension or pain, whilst the upper curved surface (34) promotes relaxation of the user's body. The projection (14) is removable, its height adjustable, and its shape modifiable with a removable cover.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil d'acupression (10) à focalisation asymétrique et un procédé destiné à être utilisé par un utilisateur (130) afin de soulager la tension et/ou la douleur de leur corps (132), sans praticien. L'appareil (10) présente une surface supérieure (22) incurvée destinée à supporter et à favoriser la relaxation du corps (132) de l'utilisateur, tandis qu'une saillie (14) de type doigt applique une pression à un emplacement de tension ou de douleur dans le corps (132) de l'utilisateur afin de relâcher la tension ou la douleur. Le concept de l'invention concerne l'utilisation d'une saillie (14) de type doigt située sur une surface supérieure (34) incurvée afin d'appliquer une pression focalisée asymétrique au corps (132) de l'utilisateur à un emplacement de tension ou de douleur afin de modifier et finalement de soulager cette tension ou cette douleur, tandis que la surface supérieure (34) incurvée favorise la relaxation du corps de l'utilisateur. La saillie (14) est amovible, sa hauteur est réglable et sa forme peut être modifiée avec un couvercle amovible.
