I/We Claim:

1. A Self-retractable safety Syringe (SRS) for single use 100 comprising:

a plunger assembly including plunger barrel 102 and a plunger plug 103, a needle carrier assembly 114 and an outermost barrel;

the plunger barrel 102 provided with at least one outwardly protruded and distally directed finger lock 124 and a thumb rest 122 at distal end D, a piston seal holder 132 structured at the proximal end P for holding a piston seal 130 and at least two pairs of finger locks 126,130 and 125, 127, at proximal end positioned diametrically opposite to each other at the angle where two diameters of plunger barrel 102 perpendicularly bisect together wherein,

the first pair of finger locks 126 and 130 positioned diametrically opposite to each other and opening at proximal end; wherein the finger locks are provided with outwardly protruded conical teeth T- l & T-3 in normal state, wherein the proximal surface of teeth T-l & T-3 is perpendicular to outer surface of walls of plunger barrel 102 and the outer surface is inclined at proximal end to constitute a conical notch, being perpendicular at distal end wherein,

the finger locks 126 and 130 are further provided with teeth T-2 & T-3 at inner surface, remaining in the level of inner surface of barrel 102 in normal state;

the second pair of finger locks 125 and 127 positioned diametrically opposite to each other and opening at distal end, the finger locks protruding in outward direction in normal state;

the plunger plug 103 provided with a centrally positioned axially furrowed knob 134 at the proximal surface, the plunger plug 103 provided with lock means 136 at proximal end;

the plunger plug 103 provided with a circumferential conical groove at the width of outer surface to be retained within the proximal end of the plunger barrel 102 by inner teeth T-2 & T-4 of respective finger locks 126 and 128;

a needle carrier assembly 114 for housing in. the outermost barrel 108, the needle carrier assembly 108 comprising:

a seat and internal locking arrangement 152 provided in a central axial passage opening designed in a cavity 151 at the distal end D to snap lock the furrowed knob 134 present in the plunger plug 103;

a needle 110 provided with a needle cover at the proximal end P of the needle carrier assembly 114;

an elastic O-rings 182 to support and hold the needle carrier assembly 114 inside the outermost barrel 108, and to dislodge the assembly on completion of injection; the outermost barrel 108 designed to receive the plunger barrel 102 holding plunger plug 103 housing inside proximal end, after getting in the needle carrier assembly 114, wherein the outermost barrel 108 is provided with a finger rest 140, a uniform obtuse-angled L-shaped inner circumferential conical groove 146 and a conical jacket 142 opening at the proximal end of the outermost barrel 108.

2. The self-retractable safety syringe 100 for single use as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the inner diameter of the outermost barrel 108 is uniformly equal to the outer diameter of the plunger barrel 102.

3. The self-retractable safety syringe 100 for single use as claimed in preceding claims, wherein the plunger barrel 102 is designed with a thumb rest 112 at its distal end D.

4. The self-retractable safety syringe 100 for single use as claimed in preceding claims, wherein the outwardly protruded finger locks 126 and 128 comprise teeth (T-1 and T-3) obliquely inclined to the distal end D of the plunger barrel 102.

5. The self-retractable safety syringe 100 for single use as claimed in preceding claims, wherein the plunger barrel 102 comprises of a finger rest 128 at the distal end D.

6. The self-retractable safety syringe 100 for single use as claimed in preceding claims, wherein the inner diameter and thickness of the elastic O-ring 132 is equal to the outer diameter and thickness of the distal portion of the needle seat of needle 110.

7. The self-retractable safety syringe 100 for single use as claimed in preceding claims, wherein the outermost barrel 108 is designed to receive the needle carrier assembly 114 and the plunger 102 respectively.
