- a wedge-shaped body movable between the engaging elements for causing the engaging elements to move apart; and
- a linear drive element which is connected on one side to the basic body and on its other side to the wedge-shaped body,
characterized in that each rocker is connected at one end to the engaging element and the other end is urged outward by a spring placed between the basic body and the rocker, and the rocker comprises a point of rotation placed between the ends and connected to the basic body.
2. Apparatus as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that the engaging elements are pressed releasably onto the wedge-shaped body by the cams of the rockers.
3. Apparatus as claimed in claim 1 or 2 ,
characterized in that the linear drive element is
accommodated in the basic body.
4. Apparatus as claimed in claim 1, 2 or 3,
characterized in that the rockers, the wedge-shaped body and the engaging elements are each closed by two flat, parallel bounding surfaces.
5. Apparatus as claimed in claim 1, 2, 3 or 4 ,
characterized in that a flexible plastic sleeve is arranged around the apparatus which only leaves clear at least the engaging elements, with the purpose of
protecting the internal parts against dust and the like.

6. Apparatus as claimed in any of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the engaging elements are guided in the length direction of the wedge-shaped body by guide means .
7. Apparatus as claimed in claim 6, characterized in that the rocker can be coupled to fixation means for fixing the rockers in a driven-apart position to enable replacement of the engaging elements .
8. Apparatus as claimed in claim 6 or 7,
characterized in that the engaging elements are provided with outward protruding cheeks at the position of the edge of the bounding plates.
9. Apparatus as claimed in any of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the basic body is connected to a support bracket for rotation in its axial direction and that the support bracket can be coupled to suspending means .
10. Apparatus as claimed in claim 9, characterized in that a handgrip protruding substantially in radial direction is arranged on the basic body.
