Abstract
(EN)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition for a ball joint, that can reduce start-up torque, reduce operating torque, and improve low temperature performance, as compared with a conventional grease composition for the ball joint.

SOLUTION: The grease composition for the ball joint of the present invention comprises a silicone oil as a base oil and an additive, wherein the additive contains an amino-modified silicone and a modified polyolefin. The silicone oil preferably contains at least one of a dimethyl silicone oil and a phenyl-modified silicone oil.

【課題】従来に比べて、起動トルクを低減でき、また、作動トルクの低減を図ることができ、低温性を改善することができるボールジョイント用グリース組成物を提供することを目的とする。
【解決手段】本発明のボールジョイント用グリース組成物は、基油としてのシリコーン油と、添加剤とを含有し、前記添加剤として、アミノ変性シリコーン及び変性ポリオレフィンを含有することを特徴とする。前記シリコーン油として、ジメチルシリコーン油及びフェニル変性シリコーン油のうち少なくとも1種を含むことが好ましい。
