Abstract
(EN) The present invention relates to a double negative housing for interchangeable negative geometry inserts, both triangular inserts and trigonal inserts, applicable to shank milling cutters and milling cutter heads for machining materials that do not form discontinuous chips, and also materials that form discontinuous chips. The housing can be used for tangential milling or face milling. The housing is made up of a seat with an insert recess, housing support geometry, auxiliary fastening geometry, chip evacuation geometry, the projection of the seat support geometry and the projection of the fastening support geometry. The geometries are constructed in auxiliary planes inclined by 3° for the geometries linked to the insert seat and 5° for the geometries linked to the fastening of the screw and of the fastener, the chip evacuation geometry being located on the shank milling cutter or on the head depending on the milling cutter to be used. The inclinations of the support planes make it possible to use a negative geometry insert, that has cutting edges on both faces for use in the milling process, providing a fifty percent saving on inserts, compared with the use of cutting edges usable on one face of positive geometry inserts.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un logement de type double-négatif pour inserts interchangeables à géométrie négative, qu’ils s’agisse d'inserts de forme triangulaire ou d'inserts de forme trigonale, trouvant une application sur des fraises de type tige et des supports de type tête de fraisage pour l’usinage de matériaux ne formant pas de copeaux de type cisaillement, en plus des matériaux qui forment les copeaux de type cisaillement. Le logement peut être utilisé pour le fraisage tangentiel ou le fraisage frontal. Le logement est constitué par un siège avec dépouille pour insert et présente une géométrie d’appui du logement, une géométrie auxiliaire de la fixation et une géométrie d’évacuation de copeaux, à partir de la projection de la géométrie d’appui du siège et de la projection de la géométrie d’appui de la fixation. Les géométries sont construites sur des plans auxiliaires inclinés à 3° pour les géométries reliées au siège de l'insert et 5° pour les géométries reliées à la fixation de la vis et du moyen de fixation, la géométrie d’évacuation des copeaux se trouvant sur la fraise de type tige ou sur le support de type tête selon le fraisage à utiliser. Les inclinaisons des plans d’appui permettent d’utiliser un insert à géométrie négative, qui possède des arêtes de coupe sur les deux faces en vue d’une utilisation dans le procédé de fraisage, d’où une économie de cinquante pour cent sur les inserts, par comparaison avec l’utilisation des arêtes de coupe applicables des inserts à géométrie positive sur une face.
(PT) A presente invenção configura um alojamento tipo duplo-negativo para insertos intercambiáveis de geometria negativa, tanto insertos de formato triangular quanto insertos de formato trigonal, com aplicação em fresas tipo haste e suportes tipo cabeçote de fresamento para usinagem de materiais que não formam cavaco do tipo ruptura, além de materiais que formam o cavaco do tipo ruptura. O alojamento pode ser utilizado para fresamento tangencial ou fresamento frontal. O alojamento é constituído por assento com alívio para inserto, geometria de apoio do alojamento, geometria auxiliar da fixação, geometria de escoamento de cavaco, da projeção da geometria de apoio do assento e da projeção da geometria de apoio da fixação. As geometrias são construídas em planos auxiliares inclinados em 3° para as geometrias ligadas ao assento do inserto e 5° para as geometrias ligadas à fixação do parafuso e do fixador, com a geometria de escoamento do cavaco se localizando na fresa tipo haste ou no suporte tipo cabeçote de acordo com o fresamento a ser utilizado. As inclinações dos planos de apoio permitem que se utilize um inserto de geometria negativa, que possui arestas de corte em ambas as faces para a utilização no processo de fresamento, uma economia de cinquenta porcento nos insertos, comparando com a utilização de arestas de corte utilizáveis dos insertos de geometria positiva em uma face.
