Abstract
(EN) A hydrostatic pressure to kinetic energy conversion system comprises a hydraulic head water column having a lower end which diverges to a pair of pressure channels. A valve system interfaces the water column and the pressure channels so that hydrostatic pressure from the water column alternately pressurises each channel. The system further comprises racks forced by pistons to act oppositely to rotate a driveshaft therebetween. Furling bladders within the channels forcibly unfurl under pressure to force the pistons. Proximal ends of the pistons may comprise sufficiently small diameter for envelopment by the furling bladders.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système de conversion de pression hydrostatique en énergie cinétique qui comprend une colonne d'eau à tête hydraulique ayant une extrémité inférieure qui diverge vers une paire de canaux de pression. Un système de vanne relie la colonne d'eau et les canaux de pression de telle sorte que la pression hydrostatique à partir de la colonne d'eau pressurise alternativement chaque canal. Le système comprend en outre des râteliers contraints par des pistons pour agir de manière opposée pour faire tourner un arbre d'entraînement entre eux. Des vessies de ferlage à l'intérieur des canaux se déploient de force sous pression pour forcer les pistons.
