Abstract
(EN) An electrical connector comprises a plug connector and a socket connector connectable to respective electrical conduits, wherein the plug connector and the socket connector each comprise a housing having an internal locking ball for engaging the conduits. Spring steel clamps facilitate maintaining an electrical connection between respective conductors of each connector and the wires of each conduit. The plug connector and the socket connector form an electrical connection and at least partly prevent or minimize rotational and/or longitudinal movement of the electrical conduits relative to the connectors. The socket connector may comprise a rotatable retainer comprising one or more flange members and the plug connector may comprise one or more complementary flange members, so that rotation of the retainer facilitates engagement between the respective flange members of the socket connector and the plug connector. Power sources are also provided which comprise the hereinbefore described rotatable retainer and flange elements.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un connecteur électrique qui comprend un connecteur mâle et un connecteur femelle pouvant être connectés à des conduits électriques respectifs, le connecteur mâle et le connecteur femelle comprenant chacun un boîtier ayant une bille de verrouillage interne pour venir en prise avec les conduits. Des pinces en acier à ressort facilitent le maintien d'une connexion électrique entre des conducteurs respectifs de chaque connecteur et les fils de chaque conduit. Le connecteur mâle et le connecteur femelle forment une connexion électrique et empêchent au moins partiellement ou minimisent le mouvement rotatif et/ou longitudinal des conduits électriques par rapport aux connecteurs. Le connecteur femelle peut comprendre un élément de retenue rotatif comprenant un ou plusieurs éléments de bride et le connecteur mâle peut comprendre un ou plusieurs éléments de bride complémentaires, de telle sorte que la rotation de l'élément de retenue facilite l'engagement entre les éléments de bride respectifs du connecteur femelle et du connecteur mâle. L'invention concerne également des sources d'alimentation qui comprennent l'élément de retenue rotatif décrit ci-dessus et des éléments de bride.
