Abstract

The invention concerns a method for designing a gear motor (41), comprising an electric motor (21) and a transmission module (42) coupled to the electric motor, this transmission module being designed to provide a predefined reduction between the electric motor and a mechanical actuator (7) of a drum brake (1) intended to be installed on a vehicle, this method comprising the successive steps of establishing a reference model of the transmission module designed to produce a predefined reduction, then modifying the geometry of the reference model in order to adapt to a particular space requirement.

L'invention concerne un procédé de conception d'un motoréducteur (41), comprenant un moteur électrique (21) et un module de transmission (42) accouplé au moteur électrique, ce module de transmission étant prévu pour assurer une réduction prédéfinie entre le moteur électrique et un actionneur mécanique (7) d'un frein à tambour (1) destiné à être installé sur un véhicule, ce procédé comprenant les étapes successives d'établissement d'un modèle de référence du module de transmission adapté pour produire une réduction prédéfinie, puis de modification de la géométrie du modèle de référence pour s'adapter à un encombrement particulier.
