Provided is a C/C composite that, in environments that include a heating process and a cooling process, exhibits a long life and resists exercising a negative effect on surrounding equipment and workpiece quality. According to measurement of the open porosity by mercury porosimetry, the C/C composite has an open porosity at a pore radius of at least 0.4 µm and less than 10 µm of not more than 2.0%.

L'invention concerne un composite C/C qui, dans des environnements qui comprennent un processus de chauffage et un processus de refroidissement, présente une longue durée de vie et résiste à exercer un effet négatif sur le matériel environnant et la qualité d'une pièce à travailler. Conformément à une mesure de la porosité ouverte par porosimétrie au mercure, le composite C/C a une porosité ouverte, à un rayon des pores d'au moins 0,4 µm et inférieur à 10 µm, de pas plus de 2,0 %.
