Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer-readable medium to perform operations including: decomposing the seismic data into a plurality of sub-volumes, each sub-volume associated with a respective one of the plurality of frequency components; identifying a portion of the seismic data that includes one or more multiples, the multiples being seismic data associated with multiply reflected seismic energy; identifying, based on the plurality of sub-volumes, the one or more multiples within the portion of the seismic data; and determining, from the plurality of frequency components, a single frequency that gives rise to a predetermined continuity along a primary reflector affected by the one or more multiples.

L'invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et un support lisible par ordinateur pour effectuer des opérations consistant à : décomposer les données sismiques en une pluralité de sous-volumes, chaque sous-volume étant associé à une composante respective de la pluralité de composantes de fréquence ; identifier une partie des données sismiques qui comprend un ou plusieurs multiples, les multiples étant des données sismiques associées à une multiplication de l'énergie sismique réfléchie ; identifier, sur la base de la pluralité de sous-volumes, le ou les multiples à l'intérieur de la partie des données sismiques ; et à déterminer, à partir de la pluralité de composantes de fréquence, une seule fréquence qui donne lieu à une continuité prédéfinie le long d'un réflecteur primaire affecté par le ou les multiples.
