A method for imaging includes illuminating a vehicle undercarriage with illumination in an atmospheric absorption band, imaging the vehicle undercarriage to form an image, wherein scanning includes filtering out illumination returned from the vehicle undercarriage that is outside the atmospheric absorption band. The method includes forming an image with the filtered illumination returned from the vehicle undercarriage.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'imagerie consistant à éclairer un train roulant de véhicule au moyen d'un éclairage dans une bande d'absorption atmosphérique ; à imager le train de roulant de véhicule pour former une image, un balayage consistant à filtrer l'éclairage renvoyé par le train roulant de véhicule situé à l'extérieur de la bande d'absorption atmosphérique. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste également à former une image avec l'éclairage filtré renvoyé par le train roulant de véhicule.
