Disclosed is a method that allows the levelness and separation of parts of a vehicle to be measured by means of a measuring tunnel. The method allows the coordinates of the end points or edges of two adjacent parts of the vehicle to be determined in 3D. The measuring tunnel (1) comprises multiple video cameras (2); LED lights (22); a conveyor belt (8); a position encoder (9) that measures the movement of the vehicle (7); a total station (11) that measure fixed points (12) of the structure of the measuring tunnel; a calibration board (3) and a calibration pattern (4); processing and storage means (10) that store images taken by the video cameras; computer-assisted-design files of the vehicles; and an end-point recognition algorithm.

Se divulga un método que es capaz de medir el enrase y la separación de partes de un vehículo mediante un túnel de medición. El método es capaz de determinar las coordenadas en 3D de los extremos o bordes de dos partes adyacentes de un vehículo. El túnel de medición (1) comprende varias cámaras de video (2), luces LED (22), un transportador (8), un codificador de posición (9) que mide el desplazamiento del vehículo (7); una estación total (11) que mide unos puntos fijos de la estructura del túnel de medición (12), un tablero de calibración (3) y un patrón de calibración (4); unos medios de procesamiento y almacenamiento (10) que almacenan imágenes tomadas por las cámaras de video, unos archivos de Diseño Asistido por Computadora de los vehículos y un algoritmo de reconocimiento de extremos.

L'invention concerne un procédé qui peut mesurer la mise à ras et la séparation de parties d'un véhicule au moyen d'un tunnel de mesure. Le procédé peut déterminer les coordonnées en 3D des extrémités ou bords de deux parties adjacentes d'un véhicule. Le tunnel de mesure (1) comprend plusieurs caméras vidéo (2), des lumières DEL (22), un transporteur (8), un codeur de position (9) qui mesure le déplacement du véhicule (7) ; un tachéomètre (11) qui mesure des points fixes de la structure du tunnel de mesure (12), un plateau d’étalonnage (3) et un patron d’étalonnage (4) ; des moyens de traitement et de stockage (10) qui stockent des images prises par les caméras vidéo, des fichiers de conception assistée par ordinateur des véhicules et un algorithme de reconnaissance d’extrémités.
