本発明は、エンドユーザーのための測定値提供方法に関している。ここではプロセス変量の測定値がセンサを用いて検出され、プロセス管理システムに伝送される。伝送過程の数がカウントされ、エンドユーザーのためのコストが伝送過程の数に依存して計算される。本発明の大きな利点は、エンドユーザーがもはやセンサ自体に対するコストを支払わなくて済み、本当に必要とする測定値に対してだけ課金されることである。
