CLAIMS

1. Method for controlling the positioning of a tool (U) on a pressing table (12) comprised in a bending press (10), comprising the steps of:

detecting by an electronic device (60) an action performed in real time by a human operator (F),

processing (20) an electrical signal, generated by the electronic device due to said action, to calculate a coordinate of the tool relative to the pressing table,

moving the tool at or toward such coordinate.

2. Method for positioning a tool (U) on a pressing table (12) comprised in a bending press (10), comprising the steps of:

generating an electrical signal indicative of an action performed in real time by a human operator (F);

processing the signal to calculate a coordinate of the tool relative to the pressing table; moving the tool at or toward such coordinate.

3. Method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the detected action is a gesture.

4. Method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the detected action is a word.

5. Bending press (10) comprising

a pressing table (12),

a drive (30) for moving a tool (U) on - and/or relative to - the pressing table (12), an electronic device (60) for detecting an action performed in real time by a human operator (F),

an electronic circuit (20) for, or a microprocessor programmed for, performing the steps of:

- processing an electric signal generated by the electronic device (60) due to said action in order to calculate a coordinate of the tool (U) relative to the pressing table, and

- driving the drive (30) to move the tool at or toward such coordinate.

6. Bending press (10) according to claim 5, wherein the electronic device (60) for detecting is a touch-screen to detect the position and/or movement of a finger.

7. Bending press (10) according to claim 5, wherein the electronic device (60) for detecting is an image projector with ability of detection of a hand, to detect the position and/or movement of a finger or a hand on a projected image, for example, on the table of the press.

Bending press (10) according to claim 5 or 6 or 7, wherein the electronic circuit (20), or the microprocessor, has the function of generating a spatial reference (62) so that an operator can compare it with the displacement of said part (F), the spatial reference (62) corresponding to one or more points of the stroke of the tool on the table.

9. Bending press (10) according to claim 5 or 6 or 7 or 8, wherein the electronic circuit (20), or the microprocessor, has the function of generating a slider symbol (64) indicating the current position of the tool on the table.

10. Bending press (10) according to claim 5 or 6 or 7 or 8 or 9, wherein the electronic circuit (20), or the microprocessor, has the function of

generating a second slider near the first one (64),

interpreting a displacement of the second slider as a displacement of the tool on a reduced scale;

calculating a destination coordinate of the tool (U) on the pressing table with such a reduced scale.
