(EN): A shifting register and a driving method therefor, a grid driving circuit, and a display device, which belong to the technical field of displaying. The shifting register comprises: a forward scanning input sub-circuit (1) for pre-charging, during forward scanning, the potential of an upper pulling node by means of an operation level signal under the control of a forward input signal and a forward scanning signal; a backward scanning input sub-circuit (2) for pre-charging, during backward scanning, the potential of the upper pulling node by means of the operation level signal under the control of a backward input signal and a backward scanning signal; and an output sub-circuit (5) for outputting a clock signal by means of a signal output end under the control of the potential of the upper pulling node, the upper pulling node being a node connecting the forward scanning input sub-circuit (1), the backward scanning input sub-circuit (2) and the output sub-circuit (5).
