(EN): This non-magnetic substrate for a magnetic disk is provided with: a substrate body having two facing main surfaces; and a metal film provided on the main surfaces and made of a material which has a loss coefficient of 0.01 or greater. The thickness of the non-magnetic substrate, which is the sum of the thickness T of the substrate body and the thickness D of the metal film, is 0.700 mm or less, and the ratio D/T of the thickness D of the metal film to the thickness T of the substrate body is 0.025 or greater.
(FR): L'invention concerne ce substrat non magnétique pour un disque magnétique comporte : un corps de substrat comporte deux surfaces principales opposées ; et un film métallique disposé sur les surfaces principales et constitué d'un matériau qui comporte un coefficient de perte de 0,01 ou plus.
