(57) Abstract:
(EN): An inkjet receiver having upon a support an ink-receiving pack which comprises an image-receiving layer of a binder and 0.5 to 10 g/m2 of an inorganic particulate material, of which at least 70% by weight is alumina, and an second layer of a binder and 10 to 40 g/m2 of an inorganic particulate material, of which at least 65% is fumed silica and/or silica gel, and an optional third layer having up to 30 g/m2 of an inorganic particulate that is mostly calcium carbonate, the receiver demonstrating excellent printing properties, gloss and absorption rate, whilst being relatively economical and simple to manufacture. Optional inclusion of mordant in the image-receiving layer provides an effective universal glossy receiver.
(FR): Support d'impression par jet d'encre comportant sur un support un ensemble recevant l'encre lequel comprend une couche recevant l'image constituée d'un liant et de 0,5 à 10 g/m2 d'une matière inorganique particulaire, dont au moins 70 % en poids est de l'alumine, et une seconde couche constituée d'un liant et de 10 à 40 g/m2 d'une matière inorganique particulaire, dont au moins 65 % est de la silice fumée et/ou du gel de silice, et éventuellement une troisième couche ayant jusqu'à 30 g/m2 d'une matière inorganique particulaire qui est principalement du carbonate de calcium, le support d'impression présentant d'excellentes propriétés d'impression, un excellent brillant et un excellent taux d'absorption, tout en étant relativement économique et simple à fabriquer. L'incorporation éventuelle de mordant dans la couche recevant l'image produit un support d'impression glacé universel efficace.
