The fret body defines a longitudinal direction and is designed to be arranged on the upper face of a fretboard of the string instrument in the form of a fret, wherein the coupling device is designed to be arranged in a coupling receiving area which is arranged or formed on the fretboard. The aim of the invention is to improve the fret device such that the frets of the string instrument can be easily replaced. This is achieved in that the coupling device is designed to be convertible from an insertion position, in which the coupling device can be inserted into the coupling receiving area, into a coupling position, in which the coupling device is coupled to the fretboard in a force- and/or form-fitting manner, by means of deformation. (FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif de frette pour un instrument à cordes, lequel dispositif de frette comprend un corps de frette et un dispositif de couplage disposé ou formé sur le corps de frette et destiné à coupler le dispositif de frette à une touche de l'instrument à cordes, le corps de frette définissant une direction longitudinale et étant conçu pour être agencé en tant que frette sur une face supérieure d'une touche de l'instrument à cordes, le dispositif de couplage étant conçu pour être disposé dans un logement de couplage disposé ou formé sur la touche. L'invention a pour objet d'apporter des améliorations à un tel dispositif, de telle sorte que des frettes de l'instrument à cordes peuvent être facilement remplacées.
