The present invention relates to a method for determining the contact point for a clutch in a vehicle comprising an engine, a clutch, powered wheels and a gearbox. The gearbox comprises a first gearbox component which is connected to the clutch and disconnectable from the powered wheels. The method comprises the steps of - estimating (405) a friction torque for said first gearbox component, whereby said torque transmitted by the clutch is a function of said estimated friction torque, - closing (407) said clutch, whereby a representation of a torque transmitted by the clutch is determined for a plurality of positions for said clutch, - determining (409) said contact point by means of said determined representation of torque transmitted, - and the further step (402), before the closure of the clutch, of accelerating said first gearbox component if its rotation speed is below a certain value. The invention also relates to a system and a vehicle.

La présente invention a trait à un procédé permettant de déterminer le point de contact de l'embrayage d'un véhicule comprenant un moteur, un embrayage, des roues motrices et une boîte de vitesses. La boîte de vitesses comprend un premier composant de boîte de vitesses qui est connecté à l'embrayage et qui peut être déconnecté des roues motrices. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes consistant à : estimer (405) un couple de frottement dudit premier composant de boîte de vitesses, ce qui permet audit couple d'être transmis par l'embrayage en fonction dudit couple de frottement estimé; relâcher (407) ledit embrayage, ce qui permet de déterminer une représentation du couple transmis par l'embrayage pour une pluralité de positions dudit embrayage; déterminer (409) ledit point de contact au moyen de ladite représentation déterminée du couple transmis; et, avant que l'embrayage ne soit lâché, accélérer (402) ledit premier composant de boîte de vitesses si sa vitesse de rotation est inférieure à une certaine valeur. La présente invention a également trait à un système et à un véhicule.
