The document illustrates and describes a packaging installation and a method for producing a packaging unit (11, 11') from a packaging-sleeve group (2), which has a multiplicity of folded-flat, in particular upright, packaging sleeves (P), and external packaging. In order to cut back on costs for the material of the external packaging and to reduce, or as far as possible even to prevent, dust created by the external packaging during unpacking, and to reduce the amount of waste produced by the external packaging, provision is made for the packaging installation to have at least one conveying unit (3) for conveying the packaging-sleeve group (2) in a conveying direction perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the packaging-sleeve group (2), and also to have at least one external-packaging unit (7), by means of which a web material (5), which forms the external packaging, is supplied in a basic position, and for a sealing unit (18) for sealing the web material (5), which encloses the packaging-sleeve group (2), to be arranged downstream of the web material (5) in the basic position, as seen in the conveying direction. This takes place by way of the following steps: - the packaging-sleeve group (2) is supplied, - a web material (5) is opened out in a basic position, - the packaging-sleeve group (2) is conveyed, in a conveying direction perpendicular to the longitudinal extent of the packaging-sleeve group (2), through the opened-out web material (5), wherein the web material (5) is pre-stressed, - the packaging-sleeve group (2) passes through a sealing unit (18) arranged downstream of the web material (5) in the basic position, as seen in the conveying direction, - the web material (5) is sealed by means of the sealing unit (18), and - the sealed web material (5) is severed in a sealed region (24).

Se muestra y describe una máquina de envase y un método para producir una unidad de envase (11, 11') a partir de un grupo de mangas de envase (2) que comprende una pluralidad de mangas de envase planas, plegadas y verticales (P), y un envase exterior. Con el fin de ahorrar costos para el material del propio envase exterior y de reducir o evitar, en la medida de lo posible, el polvo de la caja externa resultante del desempaque, así como para reducir los residuos resultantes del envase exterior, se establece que la máquina de envase comprende: al menos una unidad de transporte (43) para transportar el grupo de mangas de envase (2) en una dirección de transporte perpendicular a la extensión longitudinal del grupo de envase (2) y al menos una unidad de envase externa (7) para preparar un material laminar de envase y conformación exterior (5) en una posición base, en la que, vista en la dirección de transporte detrás del material laminar (5) en la posición base, se proporciona una unidad de sellado (18) para sellar el material laminar (5) incluido en el grupo de mangas de envase (2). Esto se logra mediante las siguientes etapas: - preparar el grupo de mangas de envase (2), - dispersar un material laminar (5) en una posición base, - transportar el grupo de mangas de envase (2) en una dirección de transporte perpendicular a la extensión longitudinal del grupo de envase (2) a través del material laminar dispersado (5), en donde el material laminar (5) esta pretensado, - pasar el grupo de mangas de envase (2) de una unidad de sellado (18) dispuesta detrás del material laminar (5) en la posición base vista en la dirección de transporte, - sellar el material laminar (5) por medio de la unidad de sellado (18), y - separar el material laminar sellado (5) en un área sellada (24). 25.
